Malthouse Barn
Malthouse Barn is a detached place near Hastingleigh, Kent. It’s on the edge of some woodland and fields, so it’s very quiet. There isn’t another house right by it.
It’s set up for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It has a 3 Star rating, so everything works and it’s clean. There’s a wood burner for cooler evenings. The owners leave some logs for that.
Outside is a decked terrace that looks down a valley. You’ll see sheep in the fields. Sometimes you might see deer.
There are two pubs you can walk to. The nearest one is about a mile away. The village of Wye is four miles away for more shops and a market.
Canterbury is a twenty minute drive for the cathedral and shops. Ashford International station is about fifteen minutes away. From there you can get the high speed train to London in just over half an hour, or to the Channel Tunnel.
The area is good for walking. There are several famous gardens within a thirty minute drive, like Sissinghurst and Great Dixter.
For facilities, it has a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
