The Old Piggery
The Old Piggery is on our small farm at Lymbridge Green. It's a single-storey building, so everything's on the ground floor which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom.
Inside, it's one big open space. The floor is polished concrete, and there's a wood burner. The sofa is big and comfortable. The main bedroom has a kingsize bed. The second room has twin beds on a mezzanine platform upstairs from the main living area. The stairs up to it are a ship's ladder, so they're steep. It's fine for older kids but not for very little ones. We provide bed linen.
Outside, you have your own patio with a table and a private hot tub. The gardens are shared with the other cottage. There's a shared swimming pool that's open from May to September, with a solar cover. There's also a games room with a pool table and a small bar area.
You're welcome to bring one dog. There's parking right outside.
The location is quiet. You're in the countryside. You can walk straight out onto footpaths that connect to the North Downs Way. There are a couple of good pubs about two miles away in the villages. For shops, you'll need to drive.
Canterbury is about a twenty-minute drive. Folkestone and the coast are roughly the same. The Kent Downs National Landscape site has maps and ideas for walks if you're planning ahead.
In terms of things here, it's got a washing machine, TV, WiFi, a BBQ, and we can provide a cot and highchair.
