Grove Cottage is out in Stelling Minnis. It's on a plot we own, down a little track. It's modern and built to be eco-friendly, so it's always warm. There's a patio out the back with a table. You look out over fields. Sometimes there are horses or sheep in the next field, which is nice.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms upstairs. One with a kingsize bed, the other with a single. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. Everything's on one level once you're inside, and there's a ramp to the door so it's accessible.
Inside it's all open plan. The kitchen, dining area and sitting room are in one space. There's a TV and the WiFi works. You've got a washing machine and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included.
The location is quiet. You're in the countryside but it's not isolated. Stone Street is a five minute drive for basics. Canterbury is about twenty minutes by car. You can be in Folkestone or Ashford in about the same time. From Folkestone, you can get the train through the tunnel to France for a day trip if you want.
For walks, you're close to the North Downs. The White Cliffs of Dover are about half an hour's drive. Canterbury Cathedral is the obvious one in town. The Dover Castle site is worth a visit if you like history.
No pets, I'm afraid.
