The Granary
The Granary is my place in Elham. It used to be the grain store for the farm. We've converted it so it's all on one level.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. Everything's newish.
It's detached, so it's just you. There's a wood burner for when it gets cold. The kitchen is a galley kitchen along one wall. It does the job. There's a Smart TV and WiFi. Outside, there's a patio with a BBQ. You can park right next to it.
You're welcome to walk around the gardens. The views are good, just fields. It's very quiet.
The village has a couple of pubs. Both serve food. For a bigger shop, you need to drive. Canterbury is about 20 minutes away. Folkestone and the coast are about the same. The Canterbury city site has information.
If you like walking or cycling, you can go straight from the door. Route 17 goes past. It's good countryside. The area is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There's a golf course nearby and some places you can go riding.
Facilities: bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The entrance and the main room are wheelchair accessible, but the shower has a small step into it.
