Coombe Wood Coach House

Coombe Wood Coach House is in Hawkinge, Kent. It's part of a working farm, about 50 acres. There are horses, some rare breed sheep, and alpacas around. The place adjoins our house on one side of the livery yard. It sleeps nine people in five bedrooms and has three bathrooms. It has a 5 Star rating. It's a nice, comfortable place.

You get a private hot tub on the terrace. Steps lead from there down into a paddock, which backs onto woodland. It's a nice spot for a picnic. One of the bedrooms has a balcony with a glimpse of the sea.

Inside, there's a wood burner for cooler evenings. There's also a big cinema screen, and we leave popcorn for you. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking.

The shop and a pub are about a five minute walk. A restaurant is about a mile and a half away. Folkestone and the beach at Sunny Sands are three miles. It's a sandy beach by the harbour.

For walks, you can start right from the door here in the Kent Downs. For a day out, Port Lympne and Howletts zoos are close. Canterbury, with the cathedral and river punting, is about half an hour's drive. Dover Castle is also within easy reach. The McArthurGlen designer outlet in Ashford is about 20 minutes away.

You can bring up to two dogs. We also have a cot and highchair if you need them.
