Eagles Nest is in Capel le Ferne, on the cliffs between Folkestone and Dover. The main thing is the view. You get sea views from nearly every room, out over the channel. You can see France on a clear day.
It sleeps eight, but that's using a sofa bed in one of the living areas. There are four proper bedrooms and four bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a well-equipped place, more modern than a traditional cottage.
The living room is big and has a large window for the view. There's Sky TV. Upstairs, the bedrooms are set up so you see the sea when you wake up.
It has its own facilities: an indoor heated pool, a sauna, and a small gym. There's parking on site.
The garden is enclosed. You can have up to three pets. Things like bedding, towels, WiFi are included. There's a dishwasher and washing machine.
For local walks, you're right on the cliff paths. The White Cliffs of Dover are to the east. The Warren, which is a conservation area, is just below. You might see seals.
Folkestone is a short drive. It's got a sandy beach, restaurants, and the old high street has independent shops. Dover with its castle and ferry port is about ten minutes the other way. It's useful for trips to France.
