Barn Terrace
Barn Terrace is one of two apartments in a converted farm building on our farm in Acrise. It's upstairs, so you get the views over the fields. The other one is downstairs. You share a gated courtyard area between you.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything is open plan on the living floor.
It's a working farm, so there are animals in the fields around you. You'll see sheep and maybe some horses. The footpaths start right from the gate, which is good if you like walking. You can also arrange horse riding locally.
For shops, you need to drive. The nearest proper one is about two miles away in Elham. There's a pub about three miles away that does food.
It's very quiet here. You're in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the North Downs. Canterbury is about a twenty-minute drive. Dover and the port are about fifteen minutes in the other direction. Folkestone and the Channel Tunnel are just down the road.
If you want a day out, Port Lympne and Howletts animal parks are nearby. The beaches are at Hythe and Folkestone, about seven miles.
What's here: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and a BBQ in the shared courtyard. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs. There's also a shared games room in one of the other farm buildings with a pool table.
