Barn Terrace
Barn Terrace is down a farm track in Acrise, Kent. It's part of a courtyard beside the main farmhouse, on the ground floor. We're on the farm here, so there are fields all around, horses, and sometimes sheep in the next field.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms. One bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's open plan inside, so the living area and kitchen are all one room. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, and the WiFi is decent for being out here.
The courtyard is shared with one other holiday let upstairs, but it's a big space and there's a games room in an outbuilding everyone can use. You can park right outside the door.
You can walk straight out from the property onto footpaths. The area is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The nearest shop is about two miles away in Elham. There's a pub and restaurant three miles off.
Folkestone is about a fifteen minute drive. Dover and the castle are about twenty minutes. Canterbury is under half an hour away for the cathedral or shopping. The English Heritage and National Trust sites are all over the place here. For a big day out, Port Lympne or Howletts animal parks are within half an hour.
We allow two dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included.
