The Joiners Rest is on an old farmstead near Lymbridge Green. It’s a modern timber building, put up a few years ago. You get your own terrace with a table.
It sleeps four. There’s a king-size bedroom on the ground floor and a mezzanine floor above it with two single beds for kids. One bathroom, which is a wet room. It’s got a 4 Star rating. Everything is new and works properly.
The shared gardens are nice. There’s a shared swimming pool that’s open from May to September, with a cover to keep the heat in. There’s also a games room with a pool table. Your private hot tub is around the back.
You’re in the countryside here. The North Downs Way path runs close by, so you can walk from the door. There are a couple of good pubs about two miles away, in Stowting and Stanford.
You can drive to a few places within half an hour. Hythe and Folkestone are on the coast. Canterbury is about 25 minutes away for the cathedral and shops. If you want to go further, the Channel Tunnel terminal is at Folkestone.
For facilities: there’s a wood burner, a BBQ, a dishwasher, a washing machine, parking, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We leave you some eggs from our hens. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
