Toms Cabin
Toms Cabin is in Maxted Street, Kent. It's one of three places in the owner's grounds, two converted oak barns and this lodge. You get your own small garden and a private balcony that looks out over farmland. The balconies are nice, you can sit out there in the morning. There's also a shared hot tub on site you can use.
It sleeps two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's detached, so you've got your own space.
There's a pub and a restaurant about a mile away. The local shop is two and a half miles, so you'll likely drive to it. The coast, places like Whitstable, is about a ten mile drive. Canterbury is around eight miles away if you want the cathedral or the shops. It's a good base for seeing Kent.
If you like walking, the countryside around here is nice. There's horse riding a mile away at Marberdan Riding Centre, and a golf course less than three miles away at Roundwood Hall.
For things to do, Sissinghurst Castle Garden and Goodnestone Park are both within half an hour's drive. The McArthur Glen designer outlet is about a twenty minute drive for shopping. Dover and the Channel Tunnel are also within easy reach if you fancied a day trip to France.
Facilities: there's parking on site, bedding and towels are included, and you can bring one well-behaved dog. It has its own patio garden and a BBQ. The property is all on the ground floor.
