The Stable is in Folly Town, on the North Downs. It's a detached cottage, next to our farmhouse. It was a stable once, so it's rectangular and compact. Got the beams and wooden floors you'd expect.
It's just for two people. One bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, all on the ground floor. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. The kitchen is part of the main living space.
You're in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty here. It's quiet. The North Downs Way runs nearby if you like walking. There's a lake a short drive away for fishing.
The nearest shop or pub is about three miles away in the next village. You'll need a car.
Canterbury is a 20 minute drive. You've got the cathedral, the history, and all the shops. Dover Castle and the coast, with Deal and Walmer, are about half an hour away. If you fancy a day trip, you can get the Eurostar from Ashford to the continent, or the ferry from Dover.
For facilities: it's got WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and parking right outside. There's a private patio area with a table. You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are included.
