Sandgate Apartment
This is Sandgate Apartment in Folkestone. It's a ground floor flat at the quiet end of the high street. You're basically right on the beach.
It sleeps four. Two double bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. The main room is open plan, so the kitchen, dining and living area is all one space. There's a small courtyard out the back with a table and chairs. It's a sunny spot for a coffee or an evening drink.
The place has a 4 Star rating. That means it's well equipped and comfortable. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and the bedding and towels are provided. We can supply a cot and a highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
Sandgate itself is good. You've got a mix of little shops, cafes, and places to eat, all a couple of minutes' walk away. There's a local pub about a fifteen minute walk up the road. Folkestone town centre is a short drive or a nice coastal walk. The harbour and harbour arm there are busy, with pubs, restaurants, and often live music or food stalls.
For things to do, the beach is the main thing. The Leas cliff tops are right there for walking. Hythe and the Romney Marsh are about a fifteen minute drive. Dover Castle is roughly twenty minutes by car. Canterbury is about half an hour away.
