Treacle Cottage At Treacle Den
This is Treacle Cottage. It's one of two on the lane, next to our house. We set them up so you can't really see each other, so it's private. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well-kept. It's not huge, but it's enough. There's a wood burner, which is nice in the winter. The garden is enclosed, so it's just for you. Parking is right outside.
There's a pub about a minute's walk away, the Botolph's Bridge. They do good food. The Royal Military Canal path is right there for a flat walk or a cycle. You can get to several beaches in about ten minutes by car. Dymchurch and Hythe are the closest.
You can see Lympne Castle from the back fields. It's a nice view. The M20 is a few minutes away if you need it, but you don't hear it here. It's quiet.
Inside, there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding is included. We don't allow pets. It's a no smoking property.
If you're looking for things to do, English Heritage and the National Trust have a lot of places nearby, like Walmer Castle or Sissinghurst. Folkestone is about fifteen minutes away.
