The Duck House

The Duck House is one of two converted stables in Stone Cross in Kent. It's mine and it's detached. You get your own garden, which is enclosed. The view from the living room is just fields.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both on the ground floor, and each has its own shower room. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. We refurbished it in 2018 so it's in good order.

We live next door with our animals. We've got goats, turkeys, an emu, chickens, and ducks. It's a smallholding, not a big farm. If you're bringing a dog, that's fine, but we ask you keep it on a lead because of the animals.

The garden is yours to use. It's a good size. There's parking right there.

For a pub, The Walnut Tree in Bilsington is about a mile and a half away. Aldington is two miles for shops and a couple of restaurants.

You're about half an hour from a lot of Kent. Canterbury is 20 minutes for the cathedral and the city. The coast at Whitstable or Folkestone is around 25 minutes drive. If you need to get a train, Ashford International station is 15 minutes away.
