On the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, ample walks are available from the doorstep, and nearby Bolton Abbey is one of the region’s most scenic areas, with a walk along the river a must. The property is also situated directly on the Millennium Way walking route. People travel the length and breadth of the country to visit the charming market town of Skipton with its ancient castle, cobbled high street and colourful street market.
