Campbells Stables

Campbells Stables is in the old part of Berwick upon Tweed. The town's got Walls you can walk around. It's an old coaching block, Grade II listed, so it's full of character.

You can fit six in. That's four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It comes with a 3 Star rating, which is about right. It's clean and has what you need, but it's no hotel. It's old, and the two staircases show it. They're a bit steep, like you get in these places.

There's a main kitchen with all the gear and a lot of cookbooks. There's also a second kitchen on the ground floor, which is handy. The living room has toys and games if you've got kids. Outside is a small, enclosed courtyard. Good for dogs or putting bikes.

You're two minutes from pubs, restaurants, and shops. There's a small car park opposite with free parking. The beach is a 15 minute walk, maybe 20 if you're slow. The Tweed estuary is just down the road.

For a day out, Holy Island is about a 30 minute drive. You need to check the tide times. Bamburgh Castle is 20 minutes south by car, and Alnwick Castle and Gardens is about 40 minutes. The Northumberland Coast is all there for walking. You can get the train from Berwick station to Edinburgh or Newcastle easily.

In terms of stuff: there's a washing machine, bedding and towels are included, WiFi, a TV, and a woodburning stove. You can bring up to two dogs.
