Little Turret
Little Turret is in a courtyard in Tweedmouth, just over the river from Berwick proper. It's a modern conversion, one of a few in the same block. It's quiet and gets the sun in the afternoons.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well done, everything is good quality and it feels quite smart. The bed is a super king.
You can walk into Berwick town centre in about 20 minutes. You go across the Old Bridge. There are supermarkets close by in Tweedmouth. A few pubs and restaurants are in walking distance, and more in Berwick itself.
The beach is about a mile away. You can walk it along the river path. The coastal path is right there if you want longer walks.
For a day out, Holy Island is about a 25 minute drive. You have to check the tide times. Bamburgh Castle is about half an hour south. Alnwick Castle and gardens are maybe 35 minutes. If you head north over the border, Kelso and Melrose are nice. Edinburgh is just over an hour by train from Berwick station.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs. There's a highchair and cot if you need them.
