Shadi
This is the Shadi. It's in Dre fach, Carmarthenshire. That's South Wales. It's a pod, basically a small wooden cabin for two.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's all one open room. The bed is a sofa bed. There's a separate little shower room and toilet attached. Outside, there's a decked area. The garden is for you, private and enclosed.
It's very rural. That's the main point. You're in the countryside. Fields, sheep, quiet lanes. The road up to it is narrow. If you want a pub or shop, you drive to Ammanford. It's about ten minutes.
Facilities are simple. There's a kitchenette with a sink and a small hob. A fridge. A TV. Wifi. You can do a BBQ on the deck. There's parking. Bedding and towels are included.
You're in good walking country. The Brecon Beacons and Black Mountain are about a half hour drive. The coast around Llanelli and the Gower is 40 minutes to an hour. For local information, Visit Carmarthenshire is useful. For the national park, Brecon Beacons National Park is the site.
It's a comfortable base if you're out all day. It's dry, it's warm, you can make some food. That's it.
