This is the Brewhouse. It's on the Glynhir Estate, near Llandybie in Carmarthenshire. It's a detached building. It was, as you'd guess, the old estate brewhouse.
It sleeps seven in three bedrooms. There's one family bathroom with a bath and a shower over it. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The stairs are wooden and a bit steep, like in a lot of these old places.
The main room has a wood burning stove. We leave you some wood to get you started. The kitchen has what you'll need. There's a TV, washing machine, and parking right outside.
The garden is yours to use. It's not huge, but it's private and gets the sun. You're right on the estate, so you can walk straight out into the woods. There's a waterfall on the grounds, about thirty foot high. It's about a fifteen minute walk from the cottage.
The Black Mountain range is right there for walking. For a bigger day out, the Brecon Beacons National Park is about a 30 minute drive. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about 20 minutes away.
If you want the coast, Cefn Sidan beach at Pembrey is roughly half an hour by car. Llandybie and Ammanford have the basics: shops, cafes, a couple of pubs.
You can bring up to two dogs. We've got a cot and a highchair here if you need them. Bedding is included.
You can book it with the other cottage on the estate if you've got a bigger group.
