Bailiffs House is on the Glynhir Estate in Dre-fach, Carmarthenshire. It's a detached house at the bottom of the Black Mountain range. You get your own garden and it's quiet, very rural. The estate grounds have a 30ft waterfall you can walk to.
It sleeps eight. There are three bedrooms: a double with an ensuite shower, and two family rooms that each have a double and a single bed, both with ensuites. So that's three bathrooms. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
Downstairs there's a log burner in the lounge. The kitchen has what you'd need: fridge-freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher. Bedding is included. There's a cot and a highchair if needed. Parking on site. You can bring up to two dogs.
The estate itself is old, from the 18th century. It's all woods and rivers now. You can walk straight out from the house. For a proper day out, the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park is a short drive away. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about 20 minutes away.
The nearest beach is Cefn Sidan at Pembrey Country Park, about half an hour's drive. Llandybie and Ammanford are the closest towns for shops and cafes. If you want to go further, the Gower coast or Carmarthen are within an hour.
