Y Gwairdy is a cottage in Pentre Gwenlais, near Llandybie. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which is nice, but you can see that for yourself.
The bedroom is upstairs on a mezzanine, with a king-size bed and a freestanding bath next to it. The stairs are open-tread, so you need to be a bit careful. Downstairs is open plan: a sitting area with a wood burner, a kitchen, and a table. There's a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.
The garden is enclosed. You get a table and chairs out there. There's also a shared, heated indoor swimming pool on the site that you can use.
It's a quiet, rural spot. Llandeilo is about a ten-minute drive. It's a nice town for a wander, with some good shops and cafes. They have festivals sometimes.
If you want to go out for the day, Carreg Cennen Castle is close by. It's a ruin on a cliff, good for a walk. The National Trust's Dinefwr parkland is near Llandeilo too. For a bigger trip, the Brecon Beacons National Park is about half an hour's drive north. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is also within half an hour.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, and bedding is included. You can bring up to two dogs.
