Dôl Werdd Lodge is in Garnant, Carmarthenshire. It's a wooden lodge, so it looks like a log cabin from the outside. It's detached, so it's on its own piece of land. The garden is fully enclosed which is good if you've got a dog.
It sleeps four people in two double bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. The whole place has a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-kept and comfortable.
Inside, it's all open-plan. The living area, kitchen and dining space are in one room. There's a wood burning stove. The floor is wooden throughout. It's a warm, dry building.
Outside, there's a wooden deck that goes around the lodge. Then there's a larger lawned garden beyond that.
There's a pub you can walk to, about a mile away. The coast is about a 30 minute drive. For walks closer to home, the Brecon Beacons National Park is on the doorstep. The National Trust has a few properties within a half hour drive, like Aberdulais Tin Works and the Dolaucothi Gold Mines.
