Lavender Lodge is in South Cerney, in the Cotswold Water Park. It's one of many lodges on a site, but it's private and quiet. You get your own parking spot right outside.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles, and each one has its own bathroom. That's useful. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's modern, clean and well-equipped. It's open plan downstairs, so the kitchen, dining and living area is all one space.
The setup is straightforward. There's a TV, wifi, and all the bedding and towels are included. The utilities are covered too. There's a shower in each bathroom. It's all on one level, so no stairs.
You can bring two dogs. There's a green area nearby for walks.
The site is a good base. The Water Park isn't one park, it's a whole area with lots of lakes. You can walk or cycle around them. The Thames Path and National Cycle Route 45 go through here.
For a day out, Cirencester is about ten minutes by car. It's a proper market town with a good museum. Cheltenham is roughly half an hour away, if you want shops or the racecourse. Stow-on-the-Wold and Bourton-on-the-Water are also within a 30 minute drive.
