Otters View
Otters View is in Somerford Keynes, Gloucestershire. It's on a private estate called Lower Mill Estate, which is a big nature reserve with lakes and woods. The property is one of nine houses built together, sometimes called 'The Somerford Nine'.
It sleeps ten people. There are five bedrooms and four bathrooms. It's a 5 Star property, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. It's detached and you enter through secure gates over a little bridge.
The main living area is open plan and has bi-fold doors looking onto the lake. There's a wood burner. Upstairs, there's a glass walkway looking down over the living room. The master bedroom has another wood burner. At the very top, there's a roof terrace with a chiminea.
As a guest, you get access to a private spa facility just for the nine houses. It has an outdoor pool, a sun deck, a small gym, and a Finnish sauna. You also get access to the main estate spa, which has indoor and outdoor pools, a steam room, and you can book treatments. The estate has tennis courts, walking and cycling trails, a play area, and a restaurant and farm shop.
The property is on the edge of the Cotswolds. Cirencester is about a fifteen-minute drive. Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold are within half an hour. Cheltenham is about forty minutes away. For a longer day out, Bath and Oxford are both within an hour's drive.
On the estate itself, you're in the Cotswold Water Park. You can hire equipment for watersports or go fishing on the lakes.
Facilities included are all the utilities, parking, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets allowed.
