Apartment 2
Apartment 2 is in South Cerney, in the Gloucestershire part of the Cotswold Water Park. It's a one bedroom place, sleeps two. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is good.
Honestly, the main thing is the view. You look straight out over the lakes, just fields and water. It's quiet. The apartment itself is nice, it's got a proper kitchen and a living area with a TV. WiFi works fine.
You're part of a hotel complex though, so it's not a standalone cottage. That means you can use all the hotel stuff if you want. There's a big indoor swimming pool, a gym, a sauna. There's a restaurant and a bar on site, which is dead handy. The local pub is about half a mile away.
The stairs to the apartment are a bit steep. There's parking right outside.
If you want to get out, Cirencester is about ten minutes in the car. It's a proper Roman town with a market. For a bigger day out, Cheltenham, Oxford or Bath are all within an hour's drive. The villages nearby, like Bourton-on-the-Water or Bibury, are the classic Cotswold ones if that's what you're after.
You can walk straight out into the Water Park from the door. It's good for a stroll or a cycle. If you like birds, there's a lot to see.
