Nuthatch

Nuthatch is in Somerford Keynes, on that big managed estate in the Cotswolds Water Park. It's a modern house, one of many on the gated site. There's a decked patio garden that goes down to the water. You see a lot of swans and coots from there. There's an open waterway right at the bottom of the garden, just so you know.

The house sleeps ten people. Five bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's a 5 Star rating, so it's well-equipped and comfortable. Everything like the mattresses, bedding, and white goods is new for this year.

The main thing here is the estate itself. Your booking comes with free passes for the spa, which is just opposite the house. That gets you into the indoor pool, the outdoor heated pool, sauna, steam room and gym. There's another outdoor pool on site, but it's closed for refurbishment until June 2026. There are also tennis courts, an activity court, and miles of walking and cycling trails around the lakes. You can go paddle boarding or sailing on the lakes here too. There's a shop and a pub restaurant on the estate, which is convenient.

For wider days out, you're right in the Cotswolds Water Park. That's good for fishing, more watersports, and wildlife. Cirencester is about a 15 minute drive for proper shops and cafes. Cheltenham, Bath, and Oxford are all within an hour if you fancy a city trip. Kemble station is ten minutes away if you need the train.

Facilities in the house: it's got a woodburning stove, a BBQ, WiFi, TVs, dishwasher, washing machine, and parking. It's family friendly, we can provide a cot and highchair. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.
