Moorhens Cottage
Moorhens Cottage is in Somerford Keynes, in the Cotswold Water Park. It's a detached cottage, it's got a thatched roof and it's right on the edge of one of the lakes.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom, which is handy. They all have ceiling fans too. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything's in good order.
The cottage is on the Lower Mill Estate. It's a nature reserve, so it's very quiet. There are walks around several lakes right from the door. You'll see a lot of birds. It's a peaceful spot, not a place for parties.
The village pub is about a five minute walk. They do food. There's an organic farm shop and a restaurant on the estate as well.
For facilities, you've got the basics covered: wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. There's parking. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's an electric vehicle charger. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
The estate has a heated outdoor swimming pool you can use, plus a tennis court and a kids' play area.
For days out, Cirencester is about 15 minutes by car. Tetbury is roughly 20 minutes. Kemble station is close if you want to get a train to London.
