Honey Cottage

Honey Cottage is a house on the Lower Mill Estate in Somerford Keynes. The estate is a big, gated nature reserve. It's got lakes, rivers, and woods all around it. The house is modern and looks right out over one of the lakes.

It sleeps nine. Four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. It's a 5 Star place, so it's kitted out well. The beds are comfortable. The stairs are fine, it's on three floors.

The main living area is open plan with big windows. There's a wood burner for colder nights. Outside there are two decked areas with furniture, so you can sit outside.

As a guest, you get access to the estate's ArtSpa. That includes indoor and outdoor heated pools, a sauna, steam room, and a gym. There's also a tennis court, a playground, and cycle tracks on site. You can hire kayaks or paddleboards for the lake. There's a shop and a restaurant on the estate for basics.

Just down the road is the Cotswold Water Park. You can do things like water skiing, sailing, or fishing there. There's a pub about a mile away that does food.

For days out, Cirencester is about ten minutes by car. Cheltenham, Stow-on-the-Wold, and Bourton-on-the-Water are all within about half an hour. Bath is a bit further, maybe 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic.

Facilities wise: it's got wifi, a dishwasher, washing machine, and parking. One well-behaved dog is allowed. Bedding and towels are included. A travel cot and highchair are available, but you need to request the cot when you book.
