Wool Loft
Wool Loft is in Kemble, in Gloucestershire. It's a barn conversion, part of a small private courtyard with a few other cottages. The main thing is it gets the sun in the afternoon, so the seating area outside is nice in the evening.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which helps. It's a 5 Star property, which means it's well finished and comfortable. The ceilings are beamed, so if you're tall, watch your head in a couple of spots.
There's a village shop and a pub about a five minute walk away. The pub does food. Kemble train station is handy. You can get to Cirencester quickly, or even go direct to London if you wanted a day trip without driving.
The Cotswold Water Park is about three miles away. That's good for walks, birdwatching, or watersports if that's your thing. Cirencester itself is a proper market town with shops and a park. Cheltenham is about half an hour's drive for the races or the shops.
For things to do, the National Trust has a few properties nearby, like Chedworth Roman Villa. The Westonbirt Arboretum is also close by and is good for a walk.
Facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. No pets.
