Goosander Lake House is in South Cerney, in the Cotswold Water Park. It's one of a row of houses right on the edge of a lake. You get your own decking area out the back, over the water.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's clean and in good working order. The main bedroom and the living area downstairs have a full view of the lake.
The living room and kitchen are open-plan. French doors lead out to the deck. You can sit out there and watch the water. People water-ski on the lake sometimes. There's a BBQ you can use.
It's good for families. We've put in a cot and a highchair. You can bring one dog.
The area is a grid of lakes and footpaths. You can walk straight from the door. It's quiet but not remote. Cirencester is about ten minutes away by car. That's where you'll find a Waitrose, proper shops, and a few places to eat.
Within half an hour you can get to a few Cotswold towns like Tetbury or Bibury. Swindon's about 25 minutes for bigger shops or the train station. For a day out, Cirencester Park is good for walking, or you could go to the leisure centre in Cirencester if the weather's bad.
Facilities: WiFi, parking for two cars on the drive, washing machine, bedding and towels are provided. The heating and electricity are included.
If you're coming with a bigger group, there are two other similar houses very close by that can be booked together.
