The Long Barn is in Ampney Crucis, which is a small village just east of Cirencester. It's a converted stone barn, so it's a good size but it feels old. It's on a farm, so you look out at fields.
It sleeps seven. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything is in good order and it's well looked after. It's comfortable.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs. Speaking of which, we take up to two dogs.
The village has a proper local pub, The Crown. It's about a five minute walk. They do food and it's dog friendly. Cirencester is about three miles away. That's where you'll find the big supermarkets, the Corinium Museum, and the open air market.
If you like walking, the Cotswold Water Park is close by. It's good for a flat, easy stroll around the lakes. For a longer walk, you can head out from the village into the countryside. There's a footpath network.
For a day trip, you can get to Cheltenham, Bibury, or Burford in under half an hour. Oxford is about an hour's drive.
Inside, it's got what you'd need: a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, TV. There's a cot and a highchair if you've got little ones. All the bedding and towels are included. You can park right outside.
