Swallows Nest

Swallows Nest is in Arlington. It's a single storey building that was the old stables for a farmhouse, converted into a place for two.

The front door goes straight into the main living space. It's all open plan: kitchen, a small dining table, sofa, and a wood burner. The back wall is mostly window, so you get a good view over the fields behind. It's bright.

Up a flight of stairs is the bedroom. It's a decent size with an en-suite shower room. There's a glass door in the bedroom that opens onto a small balcony with steps leading down into the garden. You've got the garden to yourselves.

It has a 4 Star rating. That means new fixtures and a good level of finish. There's underfloor heating downstairs and a wood burner if you want it. The WiFi works.

Arlington is very small and quiet. Bibury, which you'll have heard of, is a five minute drive. The National Trust looks after Arlington Row there. There's a pub in the village and a farm shop about ten minutes away by car.

You're right in the middle of the Cotswolds. Cirencester is about fifteen minutes south, Burford is twenty minutes east, and Cheltenham is maybe half an hour north. All the usual Cotswold villages are within a thirty minute drive.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, and off-road parking for one car behind the cottage. The garden is enclosed. No pets.
