The Cotswold Barn is in Ampney Crucis. It's a converted stone barn, set back from the lane. You get a decent sized, enclosed garden with it. It's private, which is good if you've got dogs or kids.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. That's the main thing here, really. No queuing. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been done to a high spec. It's comfortable, not just decorated.
There's a wood burning stove in the main living area. It gets the place warm quickly. Underfloor heating downstairs too. All the usual stuff is here: wifi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine.
The village pub, The Crown, is about a five minute walk. They do good food. Cirencester is the main town, about three miles away. It's got all the shops you'd need, and the Corinium Museum is worth a look if you like Roman history.
You're well placed for getting out. Cheltenham is about twenty minutes by car for the shops and the racecourse. The Cotswold Water Park is ten minutes away if you fancy watersports or a walk around the lakes. For a bigger day out, National Trust places like Hidcote or Snowshill are within half an hour.
Practical things: parking for three cars on the gravel drive. We allow up to two well-behaved dogs. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot, highchair and stairgate.
