Kingfisher Lake House
This is Kingfisher Lake House. It's in South Cerney, right in the middle of the Cotswold Water Park. The house is on Isis Lake, which is a gated, private lake. It's a wood-clad house, pastel coloured, you'll spot it.
It sleeps five people. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms upstairs is quite large with an en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The main thing is the lake. You've got a wrap-around deck out the back, right over the water. It's very quiet. You can sit out there and watch the birds. The Water Park is all around you, so if you want to go for a walk or hire a kayak, it's all there.
For kids, there's a playground on site and they can use the shared sports facilities, like the all-weather tennis courts. There's table tennis and table football in the house too.
You're about a ten minute drive from Cirencester. It's a nice town, good for shopping and coffee. Cheltenham is maybe twenty-five minutes away if you want a bigger day out.
What you get: all the bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and satellite TV. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is right outside. There's a barbecue on the deck.
