Moorhen Lake House
Moorhen Lake House is one of the houses on the lakes at South Cerney. It's right on the water, which is the main thing about it.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything's in good order and it's well looked after. Downstairs is mostly one big room with those big glass doors at the back that fold open. You can sit inside and watch the lake, or open them right up and it's like the deck is part of the living room.
The deck has a hot tub on it. You're looking out at the lake from there. There's a BBQ too. The view changes all the time. You get people water-skiing sometimes, or just the swans going past.
There's a brasserie right on the lake, a minute's walk away. They do food. There's also a play area for kids on the site. The site has a gym you can use.
You're about a ten minute drive from Cirencester. It's a proper Roman town, nice for a wander and some shopping. Cheltenham is maybe twenty five minutes if you want a bigger town. The Cotswold Water Park is all around you, so if you like walking, watersports, or birdwatching, it's all there.
Facilities: WiFi, parking, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. It's fine for families, we've got a cot and a highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
