Clover Shepherds Hut

This is Clover Shepherds Hut. It's on a farm near Chelworth Upper Green in Wiltshire. The hut itself sleeps five, which is a lot, so it's a squeeze. It's all in one room, one bed and some bunks, and then there's a separate bathroom.

You should know it's proper glamping. There's no bathroom in the hut. You use a shared toilet and shower block a short walk away. It's clean and it works, but it's not private. There's a microwave, kettle, and toaster in the hut for basics, and a BBQ outside.

The point of staying here is the land. You’ve got over sixty acres of farm to walk around. There are other huts nearby and a shared lodge with seating if you want it. There's a fire pit outside for evenings. Kids can run about in the play area.

Because it's a working farm, you can sometimes see riders. You can fish locally too if that's your thing. It's very quiet and rural.

For days out, you're not far from the Cotswolds. Cirencester is about a twenty minute drive. Malmesbury is close. You can get to Swindon in half an hour if you need a big shop or the train station.

It's a "4 Star" rating, which reflects that it's a nice, clean setup, but you need to be happy with the shared facilities. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
