Ivy Shepherd's Hut is on our farm in Chelworth Upper Green, Wiltshire. It's a proper shepherd's hut, the old Romani caravan style. It's a small space but built solid, so it's just for two people.
You've got the hut to yourselves. There's a double bed, a little kitchen area with a microwave, kettle, and toaster. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and cosy. It's glamping, so the bathroom isn't inside. You use the shared shower and toilet block a short walk away. It's clean and modern. We keep it heated.
There's a BBQ outside the hut and a fire pit you can use. You can sit out there and look over the fields. The farm is about 63 acres. You're welcome to walk around it. It's a working farm with horses, so you can sometimes see them in the fields.
It's very quiet here. There's no Wi-Fi in the hut on purpose. You can usually get a mobile signal if you need it, but it's a spot for switching off.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's parking right next to the hut.
If you want to go out, Cirencester is about a 25 minute drive. It's a nice market town. The Cotswolds area is all around you for driving through villages. For a bigger day out, you can get to Cirencester Park or Bibury in under half an hour.
