Ivy Shepherds Hut is on our farm near Cirencester. It's one of a few huts on the land. You're in the middle of the fields here. It's very quiet.
The hut sleeps two, one bedroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable but it's glamping, so the toilet and shower are a short walk away in a shared block. They're clean and modern, but they are separate.
The hut itself has a bed, a little kitchen area with a microwave, kettle, and toaster. There's a BBQ outside your door. You get bedding and towels included.
You can walk around the farm. There's about 63 acres. We keep horses here, so sometimes you can see them from your door. There's a fire pit area everyone can use. There's also a shared lodge with sofas if you want to sit somewhere different.
You're welcome to bring one dog. There's parking right next to the hut.
Cirencester town is about a 15 minute drive. It's got shops, cafes, and the Corinium Museum. For a day out, you're close to a lot of Cotswolds villages. Bibury is about 20 minutes away. The Cotswolds website has good information. For walking routes, the National Trust Cotswolds page is useful.
It's a good spot if you want to switch off. The phone signal can be patchy. There's no Wi-Fi in the hut.
