Linnet Cottage

Linnet Cottage is in Somerford Keynes, in Gloucestershire. It's part of Lower Mill Estate, which is a private nature reserve.

The cottage sleeps six. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. One room has a child's single bed. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and in good order.

The main living area is open plan with a wood burner and a large TV. There are sliding doors leading out to decking on the ground floor. You also get a first-floor balcony you can reach from two of the bedrooms. The views are over one of the lakes. It's quiet.

As a guest, you get access to the Estate's facilities. That includes the ArtSpa, which has an indoor and outdoor pool, a gym, a sauna and a steam room. There are tennis courts and a children's play area on site. You can use the private restaurant, The Ballihoo. There's a shop for essentials.

The estate itself has lakes and waterways. You can swim, paddleboard, kayak or fish. You need to book activities in advance. The Thames Path runs through it, so the walking is good from the door.

Just outside the estate, a short walk away, is Cotswold Country Park and Beach. It's a man-made beach with water sports. Cirencester, which is a proper market town, is a short drive away. There are plenty of country pubs and restaurants nearby.

For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a dishwasher, and bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. No pets.
