Plovers Nest At Lower Mill

Plovers Nest is one of the houses on Lower Mill Estate, near Cirencester. It's a modern terrace house that looks straight out onto Clearwater Lake. You get a balcony on the first floor to look at the water. It sleeps ten, but that's with eight adults and two kids, so it's a big family house.

It's a 5 Star place. That means it's well finished and has good kit. The main living area is open plan and has lots of glass facing the lake. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Everything's on three floors, so there are stairs.

The house is on a private, gated estate. It's a nature reserve with lakes and rivers. You can kayak or paddleboard on some of the lakes. They have an Activity Hub about ten minutes walk away where you can hire bikes and water sports gear.

The ArtSpa is about five minutes walk. It has indoor and outdoor heated pools, a gym, sauna and steam room. You have to book treatments separately. On the estate there are tennis courts, football pitches, and play areas for kids.

There's a pub that does food about a mile away. For shops and more options, you'd drive into Cirencester, which isn't far.

The Cotswold Water Park is right next door. They do water skiing, archery, golf, that sort of thing. If you want to see the villages, Bourton-on-the-Water and Stow-on-the-Wold are within half an hour. Cheltenham and Bath are a bit further, maybe forty minutes to an hour.

What's here: parking, wifi, a washing machine, dishwasher, wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. No pets.
