Poppy Shepherds Hut
Poppy is a shepherds hut, one of four on our farm. It's on Chelworth Upper Green, Wiltshire. It’s a working farm, so you’ll see horses about. You’ve got 63 acres to wander around.
It’s just the one hut, so it’s private. It sleeps three. One bedroom, which is a double. There’s a sofa bed in the main space for a third person. It’s more for one or two adults, really.
The hut is 4 Star graded. It’s got a kettle, toaster, and a microwave. There’s a BBQ outside. It’s comfortable, but simple: like a proper caravan.
The bathroom isn’t inside the hut. The toilet and shower are in shared blocks nearby, one for men and one for women. They’re clean and modern, just a short walk away. The hut itself has a small basin.
You can use the big communal lodge if you want. It has tables and chairs, good if the weather turns. There’s a fire pit area outside for everyone to share.
You can bring one dog. The farm is great for walks. There’s also local fishing and horse riding within a few miles.
We’re about six miles from Cirencester. The Cotswold Water Park is nearby if you like water sports. Cricklade is close, that’s a small market town.
