La Caleche
La Caleche is in Preston, near Cheltenham. It's in a quiet spot, basically in a row of cottages that used to be farm buildings. The garden is yours, it's enclosed. You look out onto fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which honestly just means everything is brand new and works properly. It's clean and comfortable. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a TV and WiFi. Everything is included, bedding and towels too. There's parking right outside.
For shops, you'll need to drive. The nearest are about three miles away in Winchcombe or Cleeve Hill. There's a good pub in the next village, maybe a ten minute drive.
You're right in the middle of the Cotswolds here. Walks start from the door. The Cotswold Way runs through Cleeve Hill, which is about four miles away. For a day out, Cheltenham is fifteen minutes by car. They've got the festivals, the racecourse, and all the shops.
Lots of famous places are within half an hour. The horse trials at Badminton, Hidcote Manor Garden, and Westonbirt Arboretum. Chedworth Roman Villa is a National Trust site about twenty minutes drive.
