Our place is called La Caleche. It's in Preston, near Cheltenham. You get a whole cottage to yourselves. It's part of a row.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's decorated simply, nothing over the top.
The garden is enclosed, which is good for kids or a dog if you brought one. There's a patio with a BBQ, a washing machine, and parking right outside.
You're in the countryside here. It's quiet, just fields and that dry stone walling you see everywhere. The nearest shop is about three miles away in Cheltenham, so you need to drive.
If you're into horses, you're in the right spot. Badminton Horse Trials and Cheltenham races are both close. Golf and horse riding are nearby too, about five miles.
For a day out, you've got the famous gardens like Hidcote and Westonbirt Arboretum. There are National Trust places like Chedworth Roman Villa within half an hour. Cheltenham itself has the shops and a bit of life.
