The Potting Shed
The Potting Shed is a detached cottage we built in the garden a couple of years ago. It's in Hatherop, a small village just north of the A40. It's on one level, which is handy. You look out over the fields.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, and each one has its own shower room. It's got a five star rating, so everything's new and works properly. Underfloor heating, that sort of thing. The garden has a patio and you're not overlooked.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's parking right next to it. Wi-Fi is included. We can provide a cot and highchair.
There's a pub in the village, about a ten minute walk. For a shop, you'd drive to Lechlade or Fairford, which are both about five minutes away by car.
If you like walking, you can start right from the door. Paths go off into the fields and towards the River Coln. Lechlade has the Thames if you want to mess about in boats. The Cotswold Water Park is nearby for watersports or fishing.
For a day out, Bourton-on-the-Water or Stow-on-the-Wold are about twenty five minutes drive. Cirencester is about twenty minutes. Good for historic sites, the Roman amphitheatre is there. Further afield, Cheltenham or Oxford are roughly forty five minutes.
