Ivy Cottage is a one bedroom place in Chedworth, Gloucestershire. It sleeps two people. It's detached, so you're on your own. The garden is enclosed.
It's a stone cottage, old but done up well inside. It's got a wood burning stove, which is nice in the winter. The stairs inside are a typical cottage staircase, so they're a bit steeper than modern ones.
The local pub is about a hundred yards down the road. They do food. The nearest shop is about four and a half miles away, so you'll want to drive for supplies. There's a farm shop about five minutes by car.
The cottage is in the countryside. You can walk straight out onto public footpaths from the village. The village itself is quite long.
Chedworth Roman Villa is very close by, it's a National Trust site. Cirencester is about a fifteen minute drive. It's got a lot of Roman history and a good museum.
Other towns like Stow-on-the-Wold, Bourton-on-the-Water, and Winchcombe are all within half an hour's drive. Cheltenham is about the same. For a longer day out, Bath, Oxford, or Bristol are all within an hour and a half.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for one car. Bedding and towels are included. There's no space for pets.
