Kelia Cottage
Kelia Cottage is in Kirby Hill, a village just outside Richmond. It's a small, single-storey place in a quiet courtyard off the village green.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom which has a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place has been done up recently. Inside, there are a few internal steps between rooms, so just be aware of that. The living room has a log burner and gets a lot of light. The garden is lawned with a raised bit for sitting out, and it looks across to the church.
You can bring one dog. There's parking on site. It has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included.
The village pub is a short walk away. For walks, you can start straight from the door.
Richmond is about five miles. It's a proper market town with a castle, shops, and the Georgian Theatre. For a bigger shop, there's a farm shop and cafe in Ravensworth, which is close.
You're well placed here for getting about. Barnard Castle and the Bowes Museum are within half an hour. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is under 30 minutes' drive to the west. The A1 and A66 are nearby if you need to head further.
