Pinfold Cottage
Pinfold Cottage is on a side street in Richmond. It's a small old cottage, so it's listed. You're a couple of minutes walk from the market square.
It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are quite steep, which it warns you about. They're fine if you take your time.
The kitchen has what you need. There's a wood burner in the living room. The back is a walled courtyard, it's paved and gets the sun in the afternoon. It's enclosed.
You can park the car and not use it again if you don't want to. There's a pub about fifty yards away. Shops and the castle are a short walk. The Georgian Theatre is right across the road.
For a longer walk, you can go down to the river. The Station is down there, it's got a cinema, a cafe, and a pool. The Coast to Coast path goes through town.
You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. It's about a twenty minute drive into Swaledale. Reeth is a good spot for walking. Hawes and the Wensleydale Creamery are about forty minutes away over the Buttertubs Pass. The North York Moors are also within half an hour or so.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets. There's cycle storage if you bring bikes.
