The Knights Watch
The Knights Watch is a first floor apartment in Richmond. It's right behind the market square, so you're in the middle of things. You get good views of the castle from the bedrooms.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. One bedroom has a kingsize bed, the other has a super kingsize that can be made into twins if you ask when you book. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up recently, so everything's in good order. The shower is a walk-in one, and there's a separate bath.
You can walk to everything. The market square, shops, pubs, and the river are all a couple of minutes away. The castle is right there. For a walk, the path along the River Swale is lovely. It goes past The Station, which has a cinema, cafes, and a swimming pool.
Richmond is right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You can drive into Swaledale in no time. The Coast to Coast path goes through the town if you're doing that walk.
For days out, Hawes and Leyburn are close. Durham city is about half an hour's drive. Barnard Castle and the Bowes Museum are in that direction too.
In terms of what's here: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on-street nearby. No pets, sorry.
