Friar's Corner is in Richmond, just off the market square. It's a Georgian cottage, right opposite the theatre.
It's for four people. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. The beds are good. It's rated 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well sorted. The main room is open plan, which makes it feel quite spacious.
Everything in town is on your doorstep. The square, the shops, pubs, restaurants. You're maybe 100 yards from most of it. There's a nice walk along the river Swale, past the old station. They've done it up with a cinema, a bakery, a few other bits.
You're at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, so it's a good spot for walking. The Coast to Coast path goes through here. Places like Hawes, Reeth, and Leyburn are a short drive away.
It's got parking for one car on site, which is useful in town. There's a dishwasher, WiFi, and towels are provided. You can bring up to two dogs.
