Vale View
Vale View is in Richmond, North Yorkshire. It's a semi-detached house on the edge of the town centre. The main thing is the view from the top floor windows, out over the Vale of York. You can see for miles.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean. You've got a private garden and parking on the drive.
The town centre is a short walk away. All the shops, cafes, and a few restaurants are there. There's a local shop about 200 yards from the house. The closest pub is about three quarters of a mile.
Richmond itself is good. The Norman castle is right there, and there's a Georgian theatre. It's a proper market town. You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, so it's a good spot for walkers. The Coast to Coast path goes through the town. There's covered bike storage in the garage if you're bringing bicycles.
For days out, the North York Moors are within half an hour. The city of York is about an hour's drive. Durham is roughly 40 minutes north. Catterick racecourse is very close. The coast, like Whitby or Saltburn, is about an hour away.
Facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. You can bring up to two dogs. We've got a highchair and a stairgate if you need them.
