Rosebank Cottage is in Melsonby. It's a single-storey annexe next to our main house. Was refurbished a few years ago.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is all on one level, no steps. The shower room has grab rails fitted if you need them.
The living space is open plan, so the kitchen, sitting area and dining table are all in one room. It's a decent size for two people. The kitchen is modern and has a washing machine and dishwasher.
You have your own patio and garden area. There's parking right outside the door.
The village pub is a few minutes' walk away. They do food. The nearest shop for essentials is two miles away in Kneeton.
For days out, Richmond is about a fifteen minute drive. The castle is worth a look. English Heritage: Richmond Castle. Barnard Castle is roughly twenty minutes the other way. The Bowes Museum is there if you're interested. The Bowes Museum.
You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Swaledale and Wensleydale are both easy to get to for walking. Yorkshire Dales National Park has information on routes.
Facilities wise, there's WiFi, a TV, parking, and all bedding and towels are included. It's fine to bring up to two dogs.
