Rosedale is in Richmond, about a hundred yards from the market square.
It’s a terrace house, but it sleeps sixteen. It has seven bedrooms, all en-suite so a bathroom each. It’s a 4 Star, so it’s well finished throughout.
The outside space is a small courtyard, with a couple of chairs. Two of the bedrooms are down a step from it, in an annexe.
The town centre is right there. Plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops. The Saturday market is good.
You’re right on the Coast to Coast path. The River Swale is nearby and the castle is worth a look. The Georgian Theatre Royal does plays and shows.
It’s a very solid base for the Dales. Swaledale is just up the road. The Yorkshire Dales National Park website has good walking routes.
In terms of what’s there: Wi-Fi, TVs, washing machine, dishwasher. There’s a wood burner in the main living area. Two dogs are fine. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and highchair available.
For a group that size wanting to be in the middle of town, it works.
