Archers Barn

Archers Barn is a converted stone barn in Smallways, near Greta Bridge in North Yorkshire. It's on its own, so it's quiet. The views from the back are over fields.

It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and everything is new. The main living area is all open plan downstairs. The kitchen is dark blue with oak worktops. Big arched windows and patio doors let in a lot of light. The doors open onto a courtyard.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has a king-size bed and walk-in wardrobes. The second bedroom has a double. The third bedroom is up another flight of stairs in the loft. It's a twin room with vaulted ceilings and Velux windows. The main bathroom has a bath and a separate shower.

The facility list is pretty complete. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. There's parking right outside. The garden is enclosed. Sorry, no pets.

For things to do, you can walk or cycle straight from the door. There's a local pub within walking distance. Barnard Castle is about five miles away. It's a nice market town with the Bowes Museum. Richmond is ten miles. It has cobbled streets, shops, and a castle.

If you want to drive out for the day, the North Pennines area is right here. The Lake District is about an hour west. Durham city and its cathedral are roughly forty minutes north. The Northumberland coast, like Alnwick or Bamburgh, is just over an hour away.
